Ministries of Health of Romania and Moldova signed a joint action plan
Ministries of Health of Romania and Moldova in Chisinau on Monday signed Action Plan 2012-2013 on health and medical sciences.
From Romania, the document was signed by Secretary of State Raed Arafat, who said that by the end of this year to be signed a cross-border program, which provides equipment including a helicopter inspectorate for emergency situations in the two countries, which intervene in the border counties of Romania and the border of Moldova.
Raed Arafat recalled that the first discussions on cooperation in the field was conducted during September visit to Chisinau Foreign Minister Titus Corlăţean.
He said he discussed with the Minister of Health of Moldova, Andrei Usatîi about other ways of cooperation in personnel training, exchange of experience, including law enforcement, etc..
Andrew Usatîi said that Moldova will create the Romanian media, training centers for upgrading emergency service. It will also continue cooperation in organ transplant operations, and by the end of Chisinau will be held for the first time liver transplant surgery, which will assist an expert in Romania.
'Romania's experience in organizing public health service, Community harmonization legislation to the experience and knowledge of Romania are very important for Moldova to take and adapt them to their needs, "said Usatîi.
He said that joint action plan with the agreement of the two ministries bilateral signed in December 2010 in Bucharest.
