The form of the disease begins with an acute febrile episode, difficulty breathing, snoring. The evolution in time leads to chronic adenoid known among the general population with the term nasal polyps (formations vegetative). Characteristic of this form of the disease is often the patient breathe through the mouth and always snore during sleep.
The clinical examination of the patient accompanied by a specialist investigation - OR will help him correct diagnosis.
Treatment addresses the chronic form of disease and aims to improve the possible side effects of the disease.
Adenoid is a disease of airway inflammation that is defined by pharyngeal Lushka amygdala. This is part of the circle of lymphatic tissue known as Waldeyer's ring. Adenoidian tissue hypertrophy results in the appearance of masses of 2-3 cm in diameter, occupying the cavum (the upper arch of the nasopharynx), interfere with the passage of air through the nasal openings such obstruand mediated Eustachian tube (it is a pipe that connects middle ear and nasal passages, plays a role in equalizing air pressure on both sides of the eardrum).
Adenoid know the following classification: a) Adenoid acute; b) Adenoid subacute; c) Adenoid chronic relapsing.
