There are two categories of febrile seizures:


1.Crizele simple are the most common. It manifests as a generalized motor crisis, short term, without difficulty breathing. The child regains consciousness shortly before being seen by a doctor.



2.Crizele-complex febrile seizures is 20% more frequent in the first 18 months of life. These seizures lasts 30 minutes, may repeat in the next 24 hours and shows an increased risk of neurological sequelae.
