Should be considered:
- Menstrual changes characteristic of this period;
- May present some health problems;
- Fertility is naturally low;
- The risk of an unwanted pregnancy is higher than at other ages.

Eligible ways:
- COC (if she does not smoke more than 20 cigarettes per day and no other conditions to fall in WHO classes III-IV),
- Progestogen only contraceptive,
- IUD
- Voluntary surgical sterilization,
- Diaphragm and spermicide,
- Condom;

Methods to avoid:
- Most of NFP (recognition fertile period can be difficult at this time, when there are a number of changes in menstrual characters).
