Colic - Tips for Parents

Caring for a newborn, especially if the first child is a challenge for any parent. But when a child has colic, parents can be really overwhelmed. They may become frustratedbecause they can help the younger you are suffering, depressed and angry because of lack of sleep. This is not exactly the picture that we imagine about the care of a child.

Parents whose children have colic cries have the impression that will never cease. It is therefore important to have the calm and patience.
Do not forget to have your care and all the while. Do not blame yourself for endlesscries of the baby - that baby is not fault anyone suffering from colic. Try to relax and remember that your baby will eventually get over this phase.

Meanwhile, if you have to take a break, please do so. Friends and relatives are sometimes happy to take care of baby while you rest. If nobody is available, you can leave your child in bed and take a short break before making another attempt to calmthe baby.

Ask your partner, grandparents or friends to take over the duties before the situationbecomes unbearable. If anyone can help, let your child 10 minutes in bed and leave the room. It is better to let him cry a few minutes than risking to lose control. Or you canwear ear plugs. You still hear the cries, but their intensity will be reduced.

Try not to feel responsible: if despite all efforts the baby continues to cry, simplymeans that you can not do more.
Advantage of quiet while the baby sleeps. Relax taking a warm bath, sleeping or doingwhatever you enjoy. Any chance you will recharge your batteries and forget about thefrustration is a good activity.
