Pelada

Pelada

Pelada is a common condition of the scalp (bad) characterized by loss of scalp hair in some areas, well delineated. It is a form of alopecia plaques.



Case is still unspecified, but the association was observed with vitiligo alopecia, auto-antibodies stomach, anti-thyroid, heredity, diabetes, atopy, psychological trauma.



Limit net area is hairless, the skin is bright, punctuated by holes follicles pilots-sebacate, surrounded by broken wires 1 cm, deformed shape of an exclamation mark.



Evolution may be to increase spontaneous and whimsical, to generalize.
