Primitive Progressive Aphasia
This disorder is characterized by aphasia associated with asymmetric atrophy of the left hemisphere and develop late stage dementia. Left hemisphere is affected, speech affected patients do not speak fluently, often express themselves without using words now.
Over time, these patients appear unable to recognize the name or more common objects.
