Over 80% of patients noted a pigmented lesions, uneven color, with irregular edges that increases in diameter, or prominent.


In some cases a preexisting nevus (mole) can be transformed - it bleeds, dry or change their color, size or shape. A normal mole is a brown stain, black or red, flat or slightly raised, has a round or oval with regular margins and usually measure less than 6 mm in diameter.
If you become irregular shape or color, and more than 6 mm in diameter, or if the stain bleeding, consult a physician immediately.


Other symptoms such as bleeding, itching, ulceration and pain found in a pigmented lesions are less common and require emergency medical attention.
