Ectopic Pregnancy (also called ectopic) pregnancy is characterized by the development of the embryo outside the uterine cavity.
In most cases, ectopic pregnancy is discovered in the 8th week of gestation.
Ectopic pregnancy (SEU) can not proceed normally because of the inability of theembryo develops outside the uterus. According to statistics, one ectopic pregnancy occurs in 1 in 50 pregnancies.
Types of ectopic pregnancy
In most cases (95%) an embryo is implanted in the fallopian tubes (tubal pregnancy), more rarely, the egg can be fixed in the ovary (ovarian pregnancy), in the cervix (cervicaltask) or abdominal cavity (abdominal pregnancy).
