Moles - nevus melanocitic Causes and Risk Factors

Moles - nevus melanocitic
Causes and Risk Factors

Melanocitici nevi remains unknown etiology. There was established a genetic or environmental influence that contributes to the development of congenital nevi. Specific genetic factors that contribute to the development of nevi cistogati also remain unknown. However, the data suggest that the propensity to develop a large number of ENVI can be inherited autosomal dominant.
Patients with familial multiple atypical nevi and melanoma syndrome melanocitici and develop hundreds of nevi are at increased risk of developing melanoma.

Some evidence suggests that ultraviolet radiation can trigger the development of nevi melanocitici earned. Number of nevi in childhood is inversely associated with the degree of skin pigmentation and is higher in children with low tolerance to the sun. The mechanism of this induction was not inverstigat adequate but may be an example of tumor promotion by UV.
