Pharyngitis
Causes

Acute Pharyngitis:
  - Viral infection: rhinovirus, adenovirus, Coxsackie virus, coronavirus, herpes simplex virus, Epstein-Barr virus, cytomegalovirus
  - bacterial infection: beta hemolytic streptococcus group A, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Haemophilus influenzae, streptococci other
  - etiology physics: thermal burns, chemical, etc..
  - early stages or infection that accompanies measles, scarlet fever, measles, etc..

Chronic Pharyngitis:
  - constitutional fragility of the mucosa
  - various external factors: dust, chemical burn, heat, extreme temperature variations, occupational exposure to air currents, the stuffy dry air, excessive use of air conditioning, intoxication with alcohol and tobacco, the abuse of nasal drops
  - endogenous factors: mouth breathing, nasal obstruction, chronic sinusitis, enlarged adenoids
  - Hormonal disorders: menopause, hypothyroidism, diabetes
  - Vitamin A deficiency
  - respiratory failure
  - chronic bronchitis
  - Improper use of voice teachers, politicians, singers, etc..
