Scabies What is the treatment of scabies

Scabies
What is the treatment of scabies
First we should mention that scabies is not cured by water and soap! Some attempts to associate the disease with lack of hygiene does not have a purpose, which does not justify the retention of patients to a doctor or contacts to announce that they have been diagnosed with the disease, allowing the disease to spread!
In principle, treatment should be recommended by your dermatologist specialist as some of the substances used in the treatment of this disease are especially toxic for children, the doses absorbed through the skin can affect the liver or other internal organs!
It is currently used mainly benzyl benzoate and Pyrethroids, old products based on sulfur, or hexachlorocyclohexane crotomiton is less used because of side effects.
Special attention should be paid to pest and body linen! Underwear that allows processing by cooking should be boiled! For that which does not allow it to be used sprays containing pyrethroids active beetles or ants (Raid, Flit, etc..) Active substance is applied by spraying, the parts that have been in contact with skin (back of underwear) then stored in a plastic bag, tied at the mouth for 5-6 days, then wash the laundry.

In conclusion, scabies is not a shameful disease! It is an illness like any other, to be diagnosed and treated properly.
