Adenoid is a common condition especially in infants and young children (and adultscan show exceptional) and is caused by microbial or viral infection of the glandulartissue of the naso-pharyngeal region.

Acute form of the disease begins with an episode of fever, difficulty breathing, snoring.The disease, lead to chronic adenoid known among the general population with the term nasal polyps (formations, vegetation). Characteristic of this form of disease is the patient breathing through the mouth and snore frequently during sleep ever.

Examination of the patient accompanied by a special investigation - OR will help diagnose him correctly.

Treatment addresses the chronic form of disease and aims to improve the possible side effects of the disease.

Adenoid is a disease of the upper airway inflammation that is defined by pharyngealLushka amygdala. This is part of the circle of lymphoid tissue known as Waldeyer'sring. Adenoidian tissue hypertrophy results in the appearance of masses of 2-3 cm in diameter, occupying cavumul (upper arch of the nasopharynx), interfere with the passage of air through the nasal passages so obstruand medial holes of the Eustachian tube (it is a pipe that connects middle ear and nasal passages, serves toequalize air pressure on both sides of the eardrum).

Adenoid know the following classification:
a) acute adenoid;
b) Adenoid subacute;
c) chronic relapsing adenoid.
