Pre-eclampsia and eclampsia - Treatment

Treatment of moderate pregnancy hypertension, no history includes:

- Closure
- Full Rest
- antihypertensive medication
- strict monitoring: weight, diuresis, blood pressure, proteinuria, and creatinemieuricemie

Treatment of symptoms that evokes a preeclampsia:
- emergency hospital
- Full Rest (bed rest)
- administration of antihypertensive drugs
- strict monitoring: weight, diuresis, blood pressure, proteinuria, and creatinemieuricemie
- monitoring fetal vitality: continuous fetal monitoring
- challenge the decision premature birth vaginally or by cesarean section is sometimestaken in case of uncontrolled hypertension.

Treatment of eclampsia crisis is in the hospital and includes administration ofanticonvulsants and triggering the birth or Cesarean surgery practice.

In general, the patient is cured and no recurrence in later pregnancies. However, there are some possible long-term complications.
