Regime in flatulence

Regime in flatulence

Many people suffer from bloating after meals. This discomfort may have the following causes: overeating, eating foods that cause intestinal gas, excessive alcohol consumption, smoking and stress. If you suffer from bloating, and the symptoms are severe or persist for a long time, you should consult your doctor. But if symptoms are mild, some changes in lifestyle and dietary behavior enough to reduce discomfort.

- Replaces the 3 main meals per day with small meals but frequently (one every 2, 3:00)

- Eat slowly, chewing well. Let fork down after each bite and chew at least 10 times. Also, do not use a straw while drinking. These habits will reduce the amount of air ingested with food.

- Do not smoke immediately after eating. Air you swallow while smoking contributes to bloating and intestinal gas accumulation.

- Choose easily digested foods (pudding, yogurt) and avoid the ones that can cause intestinal gas: asparagus, beans, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, corn, onion and green pepper. Also avoid milk and all carbonated beverages.

- If you suffer from constipation (a possible cause of intestinal gas accumulation), try to increase your intake of dietary fiber found in whole grains and fresh fruits. Take care of water consumption increases at the same time-at least 8 glasses a day.
Note: Although beans and some vegetables (asparagus, broccoli, cabbage and onions) are also good sources of fiber, they also produce intestinal gas. So, using fruits and cereals as sources of dietary fiber.

- Drink water one hour after meals and not during meals

- Do not wear tight clothing around the waist
