Balance marker - first aid

The balance consists of iliac bone (located in the upper basin - pelvis), sacrum and coccyx (tail bone) of the terminal spine bone pubis and ischial bone (located at the bottom of the tank). Several groups of muscles and tendons are related to balance. Hip bones protect internal organs and allow the body to stand up and move.
Balance is a marker crushing or twisting muscle that binds upper iliac bone at the waist. Injury, very common in contact sports that involve a brutal melee, as rugby, boxing, American football, is caused by a blow to the hip or a fall on the hip.
What are the first steps to be taken? If pain is severe and makes it impossible to start, to call for emergency medical specialist. Meanwhile you can put an ice pack on your hip bones, immediately after the trauma. You can also take aspirin, ibuprofen or other antiinflammatory not prescribed to relieve pain.
After the failure of pain and edema (swelling) of the hip, you can put warm compresses locally at least once per day until lesion healing. This will cause local vasodilation, increasing blood flow in the area and thus nutrients carried by it.
Avoid sports activities until complete healing of the lesion or until the hip pain stopped completely. The time required depends on the severity and healing can vary between three and six weeks, sometimes longer.
Remember that warm compresses should be applied only after the swelling has given, otherwise it can worsen swelling.
After wound healing, performed carefully and gradually, which should include stretching exercises of the muscles of the thigh and waist. Use an ice pack to reduce any possible swelling.
Long term damage if the regulations do not remain idle. To prevent recurrences, use hip pads when practicing sports in which contact anajeaza tough melee. Avoid any fall in the hip.
See your doctor if the pain continues or relapses occur.
